About YAA

The Yukon Avalanche Association, formed in 2010, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting avalanche safety and awareness and facilitating the development of risk management tools for backcountry users. It is our goal to ensure that anyone using avalanche terrain is informed, aware and prepared for the risk. Browse the conditions page to access weather data and information to prepare for your trip, check the Regional Report and forecaster video blog, find the latest training opportunities and more.
